Total technophobe here. Trying to download Google Nik Collection without success. Do I have to have Photoshop, Lightroom or similar to be able to use it? Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.
@jackies365@humphreyhippo@byrdlip Thank you for taking the time to give advice. Unfortunately I don't have Photoshop etc so think this will have to pass me by. Looked good though. Again, thank you.
@flowerfairyann@alophoto It works (and works well) in GIMP, which is absolutely free. I'll try and find the link I used to get it going. Slightly (but not incredibly) geeky to do either.
@flowerfairyann I just realized I DO have Gimp on my computer so maybe it is working through that somehow. I am really technically challenged so I feel as if I am not much help to you.
@flowerfairyann I don't think you have to have any other programs to run it because it has its own RAW processor if I'm not mistaken (which I certainly could be!), but I can open a photo straight from their program without having to go thru any others. Keep working with it. It's an awesome program especially if you're not proficient in PS or LR.
