Sarah ( @sarahricho ) the winner of SWOL-10 has not posted for several weeks and has not responded to email inquiries. So I have been asked to host SWOL-11 (Shoot WithOut Looking - Eleven).
The Shoot Without Looking challenge was started by Kathy Boyles @kathyboyles. She described it as follows: 'This is a fun challenge where luck followed by creativity produces your entry. The idea is to take a photo without looking through the lens of the camera, then produce something interesting from the result.'
The Rules are simple:
- Perfection is not the point. Interest and creativity is.
- Have some FUN!!
- Point you camera in the direction of the image that you want and take it.
-- do not look thru the view finder
-- do not use the screen on the back of your camera to pre-view the image
- The original shot (without looking) must be taken within the time frame of the challenge
-- Off to a late start, so:
--- Begin 20 Feb 2018
--- End 28 Feb 2018 midnight _your_ camera local time (there is still 4 hour left in the day west of PST)
- Voting should begin on 2 Mar 2018.
- Overlays and other material can come from any time.
- Cropping of the shot is discouraged, but unless you tell, but we won't know otherwise.
- You can enter as many times as you like.
