It is time to vote for the 25th b&w challenge, which was Negative Space. I defined it as:
Negative space defines and emphasises the main subject of a photo, drawing your eye to it. It provides "breathing room", giving your eyes somewhere to rest and preventing your image from appearing too cluttered with "stuff”. Simplicity is the key to composing with negative space - choose your subject and really showcase it.
We had 31 entries - a big thank you to everyone who participated. There was such a variety of subject matter, so I've tried to select finalists who show that variety.
Here are the 6 finalists, in no particular order.
Please vote for the number next to each shot. Voting will close on Sunday night and I'll announce the winner on Monday. I will be away from home and internet so I hope I can do that! Please bear with me if it doesn't happen according to plan!
Thanks and good luck to all the finalists
