Great thanks to kali @kali66 for hosting the previous challenge (Street-48) and for all who contributed and voted.
Very happy to get to host this challenge. Street photography is one of my favorite (if not the favorite) type of photography, inspired by great artists.
In essence street photography is about capturing candid/unposed moments in public spaces (not necessarily a street!, it could be train station, museum, parks, waiting room, etc). It focuses on people (not posing), generally unknown to you. If not the person directly, the subject could be the person’s shadow or even yourself.
It takes a bit of courage to do photography in the street, as it can really challenge our comfort zones! But if you do that with a good intention, without trying to steal photos, it works and you will enjoy it. Let me see what you can find!
Here is a few articles you might find interesting and inspiring to help you go out there with intention
challenge dates 16th September until 5th October all time zones considered.
Please tag your photos street-49 and (optionally, but welcomed) add them to the thread below to keep this challenge alive and to encourage participation!
A tip: i will pay a particular attention to the background of your photos (what appear behind your subject). I find noisy background quite disturbing, generally. The main lesson from my first street photo workshop was: CLEAN BACKGROUND.
