Thanks to all who voted for my album cover. Let's get the next Album Cover Challenge under way
This challenge is loads of fun for those rainy, dreary and lockdown days! You can use a photo or photos from your archives and edit it to your hearts content!
Here is what you do:
1. Go to Wikipedia and choose the link for "Random Article" on the top left side of the page. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your musician(s) or band.
2. Go to Quotations Page and choose "Random Quotes" from the left menus. Scroll down to the end of the page. The last 4 to 6 words of the very last quote on the page are the title of your album.
3. Next, find or take a photo of yours (or photos) that fits the album name and artist(s). You can use one single shot or edit with layers, and so on. The processing options are limitless.
*Don’t forget to crop your album cover in a square format! *
4. Use your favorite editing program to create your cover (or, if you don't have one, Ace members have free access to picmonkey.com -- and there are many other free programs out there). You can use any image (s) of yours for the album cover, old or new photos, but all processing for the cover must be done during the time frame of the challenge.
5. You can enter multiple times but only one entry per photographer can be chosen as a finalist.
Artist: Charlotte Thiele (a German actress who was blacklisted for spurning Joseph Goebbels!)
Title: Coast to Coast without Seeing Anything
Quote: Thanks to the Interstate Highway System, it is now possible to travel from coast to coast without seeing anything." (Charles Kuralt)
Ann Hathaway was my album name. She is a young actress so I chose to put her on a grunge album like her age group would enjoy.
My quote was by Pamela Rubin from “Why Girls Are So Weird.” The quote is “It’s sad when our daddies die. Makes us one less person inside.” I tried to show leaving of a person in the cover picture.

Upon which beauty depends.

@kathyboyles I like the colours. Interesting quote to work with and I like how you have portrayed it.
