Strictly fantasy and up to your imagination! Decide on your audience and create your cover. NOT for people. Just think of all the magazine covers you and your imagination could create! The dwarves or elves from Lord of the Rings, the monkeys from the Jungle Book, the rabbits in the warren from Watership Down, the Dragon Riders of Pern and I could just go on and on with a thousand fantasy magazine covers.
1. Use standard letter size 8.5 by 11.
2. Use one of your photos for the cover
3. Create a title for your magazine cover that's inclusive of your audience.
4. Write your teaser headlines to tempt your audience. The more teasers you can create - the better! Make them funny or make them daring.
5. Make sure your audience is obvious at a glance! Is it fairies, trolls, ghouls or what? Be specific.
This challenge will run from June 20 to July 25. Tag your covers with NFPMag-1. Thanks to Susan @wakelys for coming up with the tag! Hopefully, photos will be seen here - https://365project.org/tags/nfpmag-1 Deadline extended!
Please post your creations here to keep this thread in view.
I hope you're not limiting this to fantasy type interests and magazines because there's a whole world out there that could have magazine covers to play with! I'm thinking of one for travel. Let's see what happens when I put my picture in the photo-processing blender!
@olivetreeann Why not keep it fantasy for now and let the winner turn it into whatever they like. A free for all magazine cover challenge if it's what the winner wants to do. Tons of travel, car, craft, home, garden and even power tool magazines out there now, but none for fantasy creatures or fantasy lifestyles. I was just trying to think outside the box of typical. Or perhaps, you could start a Travel Magazine cover challenge. Might get many more participants. I know fantasy doesn't appeal to everyone.
