You know when people put up a topic like maybe say for instance the rainbow one where they say post a pic following the rainbow colors, or any topic requiring us to add a photo, how on earth do i add a photo, it seems i cant find a spot to upload a pic anywhere... or am i just not looking in the wrong spot??
You don't upload a pic, you link a pic that has already been uploaded somewhere else.
You get the URL and then looking at the "How can I format my reply" you use the img tag and where it says URL you insert your URL.
If it's in your album(s) here at 365, just go to that photo's page and to the right, under the tags, is a box that says "share". Copy that stuff into the post and it will display the image.
Otherwise, like Brendan said, click on "How can I format my reply" and it will show you how to embed and image. But the image would have to be on flickr or uploaded to a hosting site like tinypic.com or photobucket.com.
Hi Desrae, a little while ago, i remember coming across an article with a beginner's tour/101 how to of the 365project website. I think you will find it quite useful. Sadly, I cannot locate it, but from memory i think it was put together by @beautifulthing and co. perhaps they can point you in the right direction.
just to give you a visual on what @agima and @mikew are explaining (and to shamelessly promote my own photo :P), i've done some screenshots of how to post images in discussions.
step 1, go to the page of the photo you want to post and copy all the contents in this textbox.
step 2. paste the contents into the "Write a Reply" section of the discussion. and you're done. when you post the reply it will show up as an image.
@scatochef Thanks Jie i did see that when i joined but thought id just blunder through in hindsight i should have payed more attention! :-) But i am grateful for the photo turorial that helps ALOT, and cool photo by the way you use a d90 right?
@dessie On your main 365 page, on top next to the search bar is a icon that turns black when people comment to you. I did comment in the " your favorite photo of the week" to your request for how to put your photo in a discussion. Sorry you didnt
As far as the inputing of images or creating the blue text like that above, click on how can I format my reply next to the Post Reply button. Type it just like you see there (to bold or italic something just type it exactly like you see it). The first one is for a link to a web page, the second is for images.
You get the URL and then looking at the "How can I format my reply" you use the img tag and where it says URL you insert your URL.
Does that make sense?

Here is another link that explains it.
Does this help you to make some sense of it?
