Help! Is there an 'undo' button?

January 24th, 2012
I posted a pic yesterday and got some lovely comments. Looking at it again today, I thought I should have cropped the picture, for more impact. So I did, then, stupidly, I decided to replace the original on here with the cropped version. Duh! That meant all my lovely comments have gone. Does anyone know if/how I can turn back time??

Hmm, I don't think you can recover lost comments once you've deleted the original photo. If you have an ACE account (which I know you don't) you can do editing on-site after posting and still keep your comments. Something to think about:) But yeah, sorry, I think you lost your comments:(

@pwallis Oh dear! I was really afraid of that. I'd love to upgrade to Ace, but am not working at the moment, so decided to wait until things are more settled financially. Nothing to be done now, but thanks for letting me know. :-(

@jenirainbow -- Your photo ended up back on the home page so maybe you can title it something like "picture #2" or a catchy title like that and those that saw it the first time, might look again. Explain briefly in your narrative about the shot.

@debsphotos That's a good idea, thank you, I'll try that. :-)

Er, I won't lose the new comments that are there now, if I just edit the words and not the picture, will I? (Scared to try it)!

@jenirainbow No, don't worry. :-)

copy and paste your comments to the new photo. and tag the people who commented so they can see the change.

@pwallis @debsphotos @wormentude @brumbe
I've just picked up on this thread as I can't find a way to replace one of my pictures. I've seen others do it so I know it's possible. Could someone talk me through the process? I am ace, if that makes any difference, but when I went 'edit' I couldn't see how to change the actual photo.

If you click to edit with picnik, then upload a new photo to picnik, do whatever you want to do with it, then click to save to 365. That will keep all your comments and stuff.

Or you could just delete it and reupload.
