@definitelydeb Thanks, great article. I was going to start a favourite links thread but thought it would probably be kicking around somewhere already.

Here is a great one for understanding how to use manual mode, I haven't 100% got my head around the maths part but I have shot almost every shot in manual since reading it.

@kjarn My only advice would be take a couple of shots in auto mode too, there is nothing worse than getting home only to find out you don't have a use-able picture.
