So like many of you, keeping up with comments is almost a full-time job. I know the subject has been breached time and time again. But I just wanted to take a quick moment to share my new trick for keeping up. Some time ago, I purchased a program called Dragon naturally speaking. It is a speech recognition program that is used in conjunction with a microphone. I'm not much for typing and I'm rather slow at it. So for me it makes quick work of keeping up. Perhaps this technique is not for everyone but if it helps a few of you I suppose it was worth posting this topic again.
That's pretty interesting, Corey. Kind of funny, too : )
I type over 90wpm, and have a very loud house (and frequently a full lap), so typing's probably better for me, but it's kind of cool to know people are out there literally talking to the rest of us.
When you have fat fingers and type with only two of them, leave it to me to find a better way than teach myself to type. I am also in the middle of writing a book. Most of which I speak. Cheating perhaps, but I say work smarter not harder. :-)
@echoia I use dragon when I have a heap to type and I have a noise canceling head set that work so well that you can use with your head outside the window of a speeding car. :)
@nicedof@5unflow3r I just bring my laptop and type while driving and my fiance holds the wheel. Just joking, it never ceases to amaze me the things people do while driving. Thank you both for the read of the topic.
Sound slike a great way to keep up with the comments. I type pretty well so I still use fingers. I did use dragon a long time ago and it was still going through "growing pains" at that time I am sure they have ironed out the majority ofthe bugs - the voise recongition issue was a tricky thing back then (it was a long time ago).
interesting topic, corey. i've never used that but may give it a try. it is hard to keep up with comments (along with all the other responsibilities in life!).

@rumonkey Sounds like a cool idea, but I would feel funny doing that in my house...plus I always have music going when I use the computer. :-)
