Help please - Canon fd lens converter

April 19th, 2012
Hi all,

I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction - I bought a 50mm lens a while back for reverse macro shots, and now I'd like to use it the right way around! I'm searching ebay for converters for mounting fd mount lenses to eos bodies but note that some have a 'correction lens' inside them and some do not. I don't know what difference this will make though, would really appreciate some info if anyone knows?

Cheers

Converting FD to EOS doesn't work well. If you get a converter with a correction lens, image quality will suffer, and if you get one without a correction lens, you won't be able to focus at infinity.

Your best option is to get a newer eos lens, or an old Nikon lens with an f to eos converter.
