Hi all. I am just curious if any of you have noticed if the time of the day that you post your daily photo matters? I usually post during the evening and get lots of comments and views but this week I have been posting my Wildlife Safari photos from this last weekend in the morning, and I feel like no one is even seeing them. Is it my own paranoia or do you think it makes a difference? Thanks in advance for all of your input!
I always post in the late afternoon as I think our followers get used to the rhythm. If I posted in the morning I think the people that follow me would miss my upload & vice versa. We get into a community with our little group so would miss all that. I know for instance the 365ers I know from the USA post overnight so can see their posts the following morning & they comment on mine during my night. That is my view but can't say I have ever tested this out !!!!!
I've definitely noticed a difference; evening is always best for me. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to post in the evening lately, so I've noticed a severe drop in views/comments. But, c'est la vie, no?
The people that comment on my photos comment at roughly the same time each day, so I do not think it matters at all. I always wake up with an awesome comment from @swilde each morning and it makes my day.
I sometimes wait to post my better photos during the week instead of on the weekend because I do think that makes a huge difference.
For my situation, if I post on weekends during the day esp, but even at night, not as many are "on" the site and see my pics. but starting Sunday night and then through the week.....if I post from dinner time to bed time, they see them and comment more. I guess just who I happen to interact with on here keeps those hours.
I check in almost every morning and evening; in the weekends and days off, more often. I'm wee bit hooked. ;-) I usually post pictures in the evening, because, you know, it's the product of the day. But I'm aware of time differences, so I don't expect immediate response.
