Saving JPEGs

Ray
I shoot RAW and edit using PS. When I save my edited file as a JPEG it does not look the same as the edited file. The JPEG looses it's color. What am I doing wrong?

Could it be that you are converting it to Adobe RGB and then viewing using a web browser that is not colour aware? Always convert to sRGB if you are publishing to the web (e.g. here).

@jannkc I think it depends on your destination (printer). If your printer has a colour range that better matches sRGB, then using sRGB will be more appropriate than AdobeRGB. If you are using an online or commercial printers then they should be able to advise what they want to receive. In all honesty, I always stick to sRGB - it makes things simpler, and most people will never notice the difference.
