Good share, Gabriel. I can *definitely* recommend Lightroom as well, before and in conjunction with Photoshop. It's cheaper, simpler, and much more designed for photo editing (rather than manipulation). I switched to Lightroom in May, then spent about 3 months there before moving into a combined Lightroom/Photoshop workflow for certain photos. Still, about 95% of my photos get edited solely in Lightroom. Much cheaper, too... $150 for the full program, and a 30 day trial period.
@onie definitely... it's extremely easy to use, yet powerful if you choose to spend the time. editing in Lightroom helped my SOOC shooting immensely, as I think more about the shot so I don't have to edit it in post.
Thanks!
So lightroom is the way to go for someone who has only dabbled in free on line editing programs?
