i have not had my camera for a year now and i love photography but dont know my camera to well anyone have any tips for my canon rebal t3i anything will help! :) new to photography...
I just got the Canon Rebel t41-- and honestly the manual has been helping me more than anything. So my advice would be to revisit the manual and work through it :)
Well as you know I'm sure it is actually a Canon EOS 600D (it was just rebadged for your local market) so plenty of stuff on youtube etc that will help, that and the manual are useful - but, of course, the real way is just to get out and use it lots!!
I have a t3i......just make some settings and shoot. When you upload, you will see the differences. The most difficulty is the double click. You can press the button halfway to focus, and then make your shot. I find it handy when I am using a single focus point with my bird feeder. I frequently google the manual to remember where things are. I am about 23 months with this camera, and I have learned about half of its capabilities.
btw....this is my first ever 35mm camera, and I am a rookie to photography. So, just get in the boat and help paddle. That's how I learn.
@jogolladay And, Jordan, you need to upload some photos so you can be taken seriously. No one expects a miracle when you start, or 7 months into this like I am.
thanks everyone!!! im on vaction and did not bring my computer so i have no wgeee to upload pictures yet ill be home monday and have a lot of good pictures :)
I have a 2ti which is also a 550D - no idea why Canon did that. I'm sure there is a reason that I'm just too lazy to actually look up. What I'm doing is working through the manual one setting at a time. The first time I read it, nothing really makes sense. Basically I'm reading it, trying it out on the camera, reading it again, and then jotting down some notes.
Last night I broke down and ordered a couple of books.
but then I tend to over analyze everything I touch
My mom blames my dad since he's German and apparently this a typically German trait ;-)
