Fix the Face

I don't even know what to call this edit to do a search in the board so forgive me if I'm asking an old question.

2 photos. 1 family. Photo 1 everyone looks great except for one. Photo 2 the one person has her eyes closed. I have Lightroom (don't really know how to use it) and iPhoto. I don't know if it's even possible but is like toes it face from photo 2 to replace face in ohoto 1. Is this even a possible edit in Lr? How would I do it? Or is there some online program I can use for free that can do the trick?

Not in LR, alas. That's a photoshop job. Or the GIMP, which is free but a bit annoying to use...

I believe what you are after is something with a Clone Stamp tool. You cant do this in Lightroom but can with Photoshop. Note sure about iPhoto but it might help you with your searching.

There's a feature in Photoshop Elements that allows you to do it. I've never messed with it personally, but I noticed it was in my book for PSE10.

it is a photoshop thing. PSE also have that feature.

@julz Hi there if you can get a copy or trial of PSE it is really simple to do. You can fix the photo very quickly you just need to import the 2 photos and follow the steps that it gives you.

I think it's called 'photo merge' in PSE =)
