I'm trying to post a photo to a discussion but having trouble. I've searched for help, but I've only found how to do it if it's part of your project. But mine haven't been uploaded to 365. Can I still post it?
@teresaf - If you open up your photo, there is info to the right side of it. At the bottom of all that info is a box with coding in it. Copy that coding and post it into the discussion. :) Hope that helps! :)
Teresa, you will have open an account with a site such as photobucket to generate a url code for that photo. Well, that's the way I used to do it years ago. Not sure about cloud options and whether they do the same thing.
If you have a flickr account and they are uploaded there you can grab the code and the size too, there is a little box with an arrow coming out to the side of the photo and if you click on that it says grab the html code. Otherwise it is how David said.
As others have said, just go to the box that is called "(copy and paste code)" on the photo page, place your cursor on that box, click, and with Windows, press "CTRL A" (which will highlight the whole contents of the box( then "CTRL C" (which will copy the highlighted contents to the clipboard. Then go to your posting, or any other document, place the cursor where you want the photo, click, then press "CTRL V" which will paste the text there. That's it.
The site auf.me is a great place to upload pictures for free. The pictures remain public once you put them up there. You then could either post a link to the picture or use this HTML code here: http://www.livejournal.com/support/faq/6.html
