This is my first 365 Project, I recently bought my camera (Nikon D3200) in December and wanted to become more familiar with the settings and what not. I love love love photography, and I am just starting to really get to know my camera, and learning how to edit my photos, along with how to compose my shots. I would love if you guys could give me any tips on photography such as editing/taking shots or anything along the lines of that. Please also follow my project, since I am new I would love to see how people react to my photos. Also would love to just get more involved with this community since I have already been so inspired by the work I have seen on here. So please follow me, or give me tips on how to get followers.
Thank you so much!!
Keep taking awesome photos everyone
@obmcreations
I am now following you as well. Thanks so much for the follow any feedback you can provide. Oddly, I thought you were following me already. lol
OK, I'm following now, too, Kassy. Looks like you've got a pretty good start. I'm a Nikon guy myself, so will attempt to help where I can, but I'm by no means an expert.
I found it beneficial to look at the "new faces" page http://365project.org/browse/new-faces and then follow folks that were at the same stage as myself, introduce myself and then let it go from there. This way I have met really nice people like @nicolaeastwood and that lovable rogue @padlock and loads of others too numerous to mention!
I'm a Various camera user Fiji iPhone iPad but mainly Canon 50D so can't help with Nikon tips
I agree with @archaeofrog getting involved is the best way to get followers comment on their pics and most people reciprocate :-)
Im new as well...and also learning to edit. I agree with the above comments and thats what I did. I comment on their photos and majority of them comment back. Then become friends/ followers. I have learnt so much from this great community.
You get out what you put in. Comment and join in it all helps. It does take time and you have to build your followers but suddenly there are lots if views for your pictures and comments. Best thing I was organise a meeting for local 365'ers great to meet people and talk camera all day.
I will also follow you. I started off by following many people and commenting as often as I could, trying to comment on each photo posted every day, and now I have over 100 followers and my photos have made it on to all the pages, all thanks to their comments. Have FUN, that's the most important part of this journey!
@amandapowell thank you!! I will follow as well @ron Nikons are awesome! I love mine, but comment and critique whenever you see something you like/dislike @peggyscroggins Newbies always stick together @brendanmaunder Thank you for the tips, I will try to keep my 365 up to date as much as possible @Paul"Snapchap"Everest That is a good idea, it is awesome to see how much people come together on this site @sarah Okay, thank you very much! @Lee-AnnStevenson Making this blog has helped me gain followers, another tip! @padlock I love seeing other peoples work and discussing photography as well! @rosie Thank you, same to you @Lyn I would love to be on one the pages! That would just make my life... ahhh trying to get there:) @rita It is a learning process, but it is so much fun to view the world through a lens @Nicole I followed back as well, thank you!
You and I could be twins in what you posted originally, except I got a Canon Rebel t3i. I just joined this site 2 days ago and I'm already hooked. Would love to follow you since you and I are definitely on the same page!!
I'm new in this 365 project. I got a Nikon D3100. I love photography but I'm still learning how to become more familiar with my camera settings. I wanted to learn to shoot Manual and Raw. When I put my setting to Raw images I can't view from my computer it came out as NEF images. Any tips how can I view my photo with NEF images? I only can view JPG images from my computer. .I need more followers to give me tips and advice on my photos. Will you follow me? Please help. Thanks.
@treeves64 Tracy, I believe you should have a copy of ViewNX2 free with the camera, if not I think you could download a copy from the nikon site?
This will allow you to view and manage your RAW files. Think there is RAW editing in there too. Sorry can't add more have not used my copy for an age now, but it should get you started.
I guys I'm new here:-) I am 16 and we live in a small town where nobody can really help me with my photography so is you guys could do me a big favour plzz follow me so i can learn a little more from you guys thanks😀

I also find that if you post to these things and you add value then people are more likely to follow.
