Hi all not a question but a post to say hi and hopefully make some new friends.
I'm vic,male 42 and live in solihull UK. I am new to photography and only intend to have it as a hobby. I have a family hence not much cash to spare on equipment. My wife bought me a nikon d300 (second hand) and some old manual lenses. I hope I can make new friends on hear as I am starting a 365 project on the 1st Jan 15. I will on my be using my phone and using my phone editing software. Just my own rules so please be kind as I have so much to learn and hopefully enjoy on the way.

Welcome Vic. I started my 365 on 1/1/14 and complete today! You will find the site to be a wonderful community of supportive like minded people. I have learnt so much from the other people here. I would suggest you follow as many people as you can within your time available. Another great way to get involved and challenged! is to try some of the themes and challenges.

Hi, I,m a newby too, just joined its my ambition to post a photo everyday in 2015, I'm also a novice, still trying to work out all the bells and whistles on my Nikon D3200 so also looking for some friendly support.

@vicfzy Hi Vic! I agree with Jocasta - this place is totally addictive and you will find all sorts of support. Just start following some people whose work you enjoy and about half will follow back and then you are well and away for feedback and support of your work. No rules, your own journey.
Hello and welcome - I think you are already off to a great start. One of the hardest things to learn here is that it's your project, your rules but you have already got that so enjoy but we warned - it is pretty addictive!
Welcome Vic! I hope your 365 experience is just as great as mine has been! The best way to accomplish all you hope for is to find photographer's whose work you enjoy follow them and never be afraid to ask questions here. Everyone is so happy to share what they know, it's great- and yes, quite addictive!!
