If I want to post a 'hyperlink' to a webpage, or to a photograph from my album (or somebody elses for that matter), how can I do that, without having to cut and past the entire web address.
For example if I want to write "for more information on the bumble bee take a look at the following 'link' (and have the link take the reader to the web page when he/she clicks on the word 'link' as opposed to typing in full www.worldfbumblebees.com)
If you mean to post in a discussion post Phil, you can normally click on the " How can I format my reply" below the writing box, however I see that URL is not working. @Scrivna can you check that?
@Scrivna Hi.. i've been informed one of my images for bw-8 came first place. therefore it is for me to set the next challenge. i have no idea of where to begin.. could you possibly advise me, please.
also the counter for the number of folk i follow is incorrect. it indicates '8' but i know it is more than double that.. is it possible to sort it??
I've been wondering how to do that phil, as cutting and pasting from word doc stops hyperlinks. Not sure I understand what ross @Scrivna typed so will follow your posts with interest and learn from you!!
Just googled a quick solution and found this, it uses the same code, very simple to do:
