PicMonkey Questions

September 21st, 2020
Flash isn't going to be supported after December 2020. Will we still have PicMonkey included with our 365 Ace Membership?

Also, in the top left corner of my PicMonkey it says OLD EDITOR. Does anyone know what that means?

ask Ross?? @scrivna

I can't help you Sandy but I'm worried about Flash leaving. It is needed for so many things.
As Sandy mentioned, maybe Ross can help.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond @mittens Thank you both. I guess we will have to wait until Ross @scrivna gets back to us.

@mittens A real stupid question Marilyn, what is Flash? I have never heard of it (I do not use PicMonkey)

@ludwigsdiana
I found this site on the Internet that can explain it better than I can. If we don't have Flash Player, I'm wondering what can replace it to see and interact with things on the Internet.

@mittens Thanks Marilyn, I don't even know if I have it or not ;-)

I never heard back from Ross but I did hear back from PicMonkey customer support today. My note is at the bottom and their response is above it.

Hi Sandy,

Thank you for reaching us. I'm Guadalupe from the Customer Advocate team, and I'll be assisting you today.

Unfortunately, our API will stop working when flash sunsets. We don’t currently have an API developed for our editor. Also, we don’t have it in the plan yet but we’re passing all interest to our dev team, so they’re aware it’s been asked for.

Thanks for your interest, we’ll be in touch if things change.

All the Best,
Guadalupe

Hello PicMonkey Customer Service,

I use PicMonkey through the 365 Project website (365project.org http://365project.org/) where we receive access through our Ace Membership.

I see I need Flash enabled to run PicMonkey on my computer. Which leads to my question: Since Flash is going away in December 2020, does that mean no more PicMonkey on the computer with the 365 Project?

Thanks for your help,

Sandy Weinstein

@eg365projectorgmoartt Snapseed? Is that what we get with our membership now?
