finding film

April 19th, 2010
so i've got 2 totally kicking polaroid cameras... a model 20 swinger that takes polaroid 20-series roll film and a classic Spirit 600 which takes polaroid 600-series instant film packs.

i had film to go in both cameras, and unfortunately, it was WAY expired, so i didn't get any cool effects... but instead got an instant picture of solid brown-ness... not what i wanted

polaroid doesn't make anymore of either of these types of films... bad move, polaroid, bad move

if anyone has any suggestions on where to buy film for either of these... OR i've also heard about making your own film, if anyone knows how to do this and wouldn't mind sharing, that'd be greatly appreciated

thanks!!

I believe that another company manufacturers it for Polaroids now. If you don't get a bonafide answer here, I highly recommend you check with

1.) Dwayne's Camera in Kansas
2.) Robert's Imaging in Indy
3.) North Coast Photo in Claifornia

You'll easily find these places on the web. If they don't know (and I am sure they do), no one will know.

You can either buy new produced film from the Impossible Project http://shop.the-impossible-project.com/shop/film/600/fi_600_1_px600_ff

or buy some at ebay.
