My latest picture (August 30th) is actually from a video I did with my 60d. I liked it, so I decided to printscreen it. If you look at it, you'll see it's fine as long as it is of small or medium size, but if you click on the magnifying glass icon, you'll see that at it's 100% size, it is not that good (to my taste, at least).
So, is there any way I can get a high quality frame out of one of my video?
If you did it as a print screen, I'm pretty sure I'm right in saying screen resolution is 75dpi. For a good quality print you need 300dpi, so it sounds like there must be a different way to extract the image from the video clip.
I would have thought if it is a straight forward process ( and you would expect it to be...) one of the Canon utilities that came with your camera ought to have the facility to do this.
I assume you've googled it already?
@sburbidge
Well I tried to search it at first, and found after a second search a program called Topaz I think, but couldn't figure out which trial I should download and wasn't sure if it was a good program. My Canon program are basically like camera raw I think.
