guys need some advise, what would you do when you shoot indoors and the light is ambient ie yellowish which makes people look like they have hepatitis? thanks in advanc =)
@ronphotography Tungsten is done by normal lightbulbs in the home and makes it orangey/yellow. Fluorescent is normally in places like shops & schools, which makes it greenish. Your camera should have a setting for tungesten, fluorescent and daylight, just got to set it right :-)
@ronphotography If setting the white balance to 'indoor' doesn't fix it most all cameras have a setting for custom white balance which is good for mixed lighting. Check the manual on how to do it with yours.
Lately I've learned to put more trust in AWB (auto) and do any corrections needed later when shooting RAW.
What photo editing software are you using? In Elements, there's a setting to Remove Color Cast. If it's yellowish, you can pick it as the white and the photo will be adjusted accordingly. It's not perfect, but it's an option.
