So, my hubby has decided to invest in my professional photography business through a new camera body (see title!) and I'm totally psyched! With that in mind, it is coming with an "L" lens and I do have two others that will fit with it fine, as well as a speedlite. So, for those of you that have this camera are there any tricks/tips you can offer me? I will certainly be playing, playing, playing with it before I take any professional shots with it, but I'm thrilled that this gives me two camera bodies for times when I need to switch lenses quickly! :)
@terek55 I've had mine for near three years, I managed to bu the first one in Western Australia. I've only ever had one problem and Canon did a great job in fixing it at no cost. What lenses do you have, because remember it has the full frame CMOS sensor and therefore most other Canon lenses will fit the camera but not work properly. EF-S lenses will not work for instance. The opposite is OK, lenses made for the 5d mkII and the 1d will work with all Canon cameras.
It takes a bit of time and several ways to do it.
You can buy something like lensalign or do it for free by using a technique which I think Keith Cooper describes on Northlight Images
