picnik help

November 20th, 2011
When I work my photos on picnik, they now have decided to not hold the changes I have made. I can go from 365 and do them, but they show up here bad first. Any suggestions of why this is happening. And yes I did pay for the site and have been using it for quite awhile. It just started happening to me. Thanks for any help on this.

I have not noticed this. When I upload my photos from my camera I then transfer them to a folder where I can then directly upload to Picnik., Once my editing is done, and I save it, it sends it to my documents where I can pull them from to upload to 365. I have already edited in Picnik from the 365 site, and I remember I had problems then when trying to save the changes, but not sure the type of problem I had anymore.

I use the same method as Rick. I have also sent them directly from picnik to my project via email and it has worked fine. However, I have recently noticed that picnik gives me an error message that "the changes cannot be saved" on picnik's site, but will be saved in my documents. As promised, the changes are made in my documents, but picnik does not show them in my history.

Saving changes on Picnik has been a problem for me as well. I just keep hitting "save" a few times and eventually it will. Sometimes it takes 5-10 times. Totally pain in the ass!

I am so glad. It sounds like I am not the only one with this problem. I enter and exit my photos like Rick does and it always worked, but now,,,,,,, Thanks all.

I only use Picnik for framing. When I save it, I save it to my desktop. Then, when I go into 365 to upload my photo, I change the location form iPhotos to Desktop, and it works fine. Hope this works out for you.

@miata2u I go to picknic via picassa so when I save it goes back to picassa where I can continue editing via picassa or just save from there...usually have zero problem...only time I have had issues is when I work on a really long edit on picknic and it times out and refuses to save and I end up having to screen shot my work :(

I have never used the Picnik program from 365. I do the same process as Rick. Load the photos into my computer, then pull them from the computer onto Picnik via the internet. I then edit and process them in Picnik. When I'm done I save them back to my computer. I then pull the edited picture onto 365 from my computer. I've never had any problems that way. Although I think I did get that error message yesterday (Saturday- US) but it didn't register. However, I didn't have any problems today (Sunday- US). I'll have to pay attention to that if it pops up again.
