Lightroom question

I have not used lightroom and am not sure if you have to have photoshop to use it. And is there a site I can go to, to teach me lightroom so I can actually use it and learn to see if I can even use it before I buy it. I have only used picnik so far and am getting very bored. Or is there another site I can use that would be easier. Thanks for help.

No you don't have to have Photoshop to use Lightroom. It is a pretty easy to use program. I don't know of a particular site to help you learn it, but am sure that Adobe has tutorials on their website. I use it regularly and love it.

@miata2u There are 30-day trials of most every Adobe product available on their website. There are lots of places to look for information and tutorials, too. I've found a lot on YouTube that has been helpful in the way of photography, and there's lots of content on iTunes U. too. And those are just a couple of places - Google 'lightroom tutorial' or 'how to use lightroom' and you'll get all sorts of good suggestions!

Lightroom is a fabulous program, I use it all the time. When you do buy it, purchase the Scott Kelby book, it is a great help.
