Magnolia by ditzy


A beautiful Magnolia outside the Osney One Library building. I think this is a Magnolia Stellata - as it looks very similar to the very small one that I planted in my garden. I was very torn between this picture and a grander pink Magnolia that I pass on my way home - maybe I'll get that tomorrow. Anyway, it was lovely to see this one at Osney One, which is probably the least glamous of the Bodleian Libraries buildings but which has the most lovely sorroundings.
Yes that's a Stellata, lovely things...

I love magnolias. One day, someday... I intend to have one in my yard. I have been saying this for 20 years. Lovely.
