A Favourite

I love this old building. It's a 5 minute walk from the White Horse pub. It sits in a lovely old lane next to the local church & village green. It's quite difficult to photograph though as it is surrounded by some very large trees which cast lots of shadows.
It has been a private home for many years, but back in the 18th century it was one of the many pubs that lined the old Great North Road in Eaton Socon. This was the Old Cock Inn.
You have some lovely old building in your area ! What a shame that they could not have stuck the sky dish some where in the back of the building !! -- sorry for being finicky . but I love your series of these period buildings !

@beryl Thanks for your nice comments Beryl. Yes I also think these dishes can spoil the appearance of buildings..... almost as bad as the large dustbins that adorn almost every building these days !!! Especially when you want to photograph them lol.

What a fabulous old building. the only thing I miss about the UK is the old houses. Nothing so old here in Australia.
