Gannet Colony

Yesterday we went to visit the gannet colony at Muriwai. It was the first time I have been and I loved it. They are such majestic birds. The scenery (and the weather) was pretty nice too.

Lovely shot! We have many colonies of gannets in Orkney. They are great to watch and they can be incredibly noisy in large numbers! 😊
