On day two of the bike trail for part of the 50 kilometres, we followed an old tram line. This was used for loggers to take huge trees out of the native bush. There were quite a few suspension bridges on the trail, but this was the only tunnel.
@fbailey Thank you - I do love tunnels for the opportunity they give for a photo. @conbell Thank you Connie. @delwynforsythe Definitely you must do this ride - I really enjoyed it. @miata2u Thank you Peggy :-) @dawnee Thanks Dawnee :-) @yorkshirekiwi It is certainly a good ride to do, thoroughly recommend it. @vignouse Thank you Richard :-) @evalieutionspics Thanks - just had to get my friend in the right spot to get a bit of light on him :-) @catsmeowb Thanks Camille :-) @mv_wolfie Thanks Mariana :-) @paul10 Haha didn't think about what could be lurking in the shadows when cycling through and couldn't see anything! I would say there would be quite a few wetas but nothing too scary! It is cold and damp so ideal place for the moss to grow. @drnhtung Thank you so much for your lovely comment.
