I drove from Taupo back home to New Plymouth. The Three Sisters are at Tongaparutu on the north Taranaki coastline. It is only possible to visit them when the tide is out. I was lucky enough to get there just on half tide with the tide going out, although had to walk through water in one part. I had to carry Alfie (my yorkshire terrier) as he doesn't like getting his feet wet! Alfie had a great time - and so did I!
