I have just realised that I missed a day posting a photo. On Sunday we visited Cromwell in Central Otago. The historic precinct has some original and some reconstructed buildings. A lot of the town was flooded when the Clyde Dam was built about 35 years ago, resulting in the formation of Lake Dunstan. New Zealand was only colonised by Europeans about 200 years ago, so we don't have really old buildings, but even so it is good to keep a bit of history.
Haha no cowboys in Cromwell! Thanks for your comments much appreciated. :-)
