To see these birds wheeling around the sky is quite a sight. They usually fly in mass if they see something they perceive to be a threat, such as a hawk. (A hawk regularly drops in to eat one or two! I'm still trying to get a photo of this). Today they were flying because my youngest daughter has just purchased herself a drone. They probably thought it was something out to get them!!
Super capture ....love the b/w really makes the pigeons stand out ... hope you get the image you want .. or does that just sound a bit weird! Oh well that's just probably me! :)
@merrelyn thanks for your comment Merrelyn - I actually think it is really cool that the photo makes you feel something - even if it is an unnerving feeling :-)
@jesperani@dawnee Thank you for your comments @alijchapman Haha - To me it isn't weird because I'm wanting it too, but people could feel a bit squeamish to think I'm wanting a hawk to take one of the birds - the thing is, it is nature and it happens. @jgpittenger Thanks for your lovely comment.
@alfsson@haskar@jerome Thanks so much for commenting :-) They were so fast I didn't have time to focus on them, but I had the depth of field big enough to get some of them in focus anyway.
