When my son and his partner saw the spider I posted the other day, they decided that they wanted some black and white spiders, bugs or snails as artwork on their lounge wall. This was a snail I brought inside and took photographs of. I actually quite like that the only thing in focus is one of his eyes.

Thanks so much for commenting on this unusual photo. Getting the focus just on the eye was more luck than anything. I am finding with the extension tubes on the 60, the dof is so shallow, it is tricky to get the focus right. However, with this one I was happy with how it turned out. More because it is slightly artistic than because it is a great photo.
