This was the only photo I took all day, so for the 365 challenge this has to be uploaded! It was an incredibly long day! The taxi picked us up at 4:30 AM and we finally arrived at our accommodation in Windhoek at 10:30 PM - plus we lost 10 hours!
This was a candid quick shot of a fellow traveller and his wife. I loved the way she was hidden behind the menu.
It's wonderful. It captures the more pleasant side of travel -- as if the food would be interesting and worth eating! And b&w makes it timeless. Hope you get a good night's sleep.
@jamibann@claudiet Thanks so much for commenting on this photo. @kiwichick The fuel shortage was crazy. We were lucky and weren't affected at all. @happypat Thanks I do love to take candids of people but it is tricky. @hermann Thank you Sally! @hrs Thank you Helen :-) @moonmtn So true Kahsia. I think coming home was worse - it probably took about 5 days to come fully right. @Dawn Thank you Dawn. @taffy Thanks Taffy - we were lucky and had good flights both there and back. It does take a while to get back into the right time-zone though! @littleconnie Thanks so much Connie @haskar Thanks so much.
