A walk in the Park

I am nearly 2 weeks behind in uploading photos!! I have been reading all the comments on my Namibia and Madagascar photos and really appreciate them. Hopefully will have time to respond soon. I am now back in New Zealand and home, although a grandson was due to be born 3 days ago and my husband is scheduled for knee replacement next week!!

This photo was taken in Hyde Park London. We flew from Antananarivo to London arriving 5:30 AM. We caught up with friends at their hotel and while waiting for a 9 seater van to take us north, we had time for a walk in Hyde Park. I took two photos of this cormorant, one from behind and this one with a little bit of sun backlighting his wings.
