1970 Volks Wagon Karmann beetle
Such a fun car. For those who might remember this was the original car in the V Dub advertisement featuring Rachel Hunter and Trumpet ice creams. It was my idea to pose the car at a renowned surfing spot in Taranaki (Stent Road) using a couple of surf boards as props.
Wow what a pop of colour and such a cool vehicle. Great POV and the surfboards really add to the composition. Are they yours? the surfboards and/or the VW?
Boy Delwyn - you have some great cars!! My Dad had one of these as a beach buggy when I was a teenager - they were such fun. This one is in such great condition - it certainly made a beautiful photo.
