Wakatipu trees in the lake

I am a little bit behind in posting my daily photos - I have taken plenty but need to sort them. On Friday I was in Queenstown with my youngest daughter. We were going to go for a walk but the day was wet and miserable. She had never been to Glenorchy so we drove down there. It is an incredibly beautiful place, but quite different on an incessantly wet and cold day - although with a different kind of beauty! These strange looking trees are in Lake Wakatipu beside the Glenorchy pier.
