On Sunday morning we left Mt Cook and drove to Tekapo and then to Twizel. This was a stand of trees by the road. I loved the colour contrast again the white snow. In the background is Lake Pukaki. It is a lovely blue but too hard to see in this photo.
Woohoo -we've only been to NZ once - and the snow was truly a highlight for us. It is all so beautiful carpeted in white. Eventually our kids complained of "scenic overload"! This is just such a scene.
