115 degrees? at 230 in the afternoon?
ugh! so freaking hot today!
i worked til 2 today (yay early summer fridays!) and went straight to my parents house to hang out til pizza night......so i went from a nice awesome air conditioned office, out to the stifling hot gross outside, to an even hotter car, then to my parent's awesomely air conditioned house
this is a picture of this huge outdoor clock my dad has out on the patio, that also has a thermometer on it....115....yeah so it's kind of in the direct sun, but still...yikes!
the thermometer my dad has out on the fence in the shade was reading 100 degrees! in the shade! i took a picture of that too, but the temp on this one is higher
ugh! i hate the summer! i can't wait for this heat wave to be over
i hope it's not that bad tomorrow...it's my niece's birthday party, and i don't think everyone my sister invited can fit in the house.....
My sympathy to all those suffering under this almost countrywide heatwave. We are in CA from 7/7 to 8/2 and are missing most of it. It has been hot here but no humidity and not nearly as hot as back east. Nothing like New Jersey with the three Hs. Heat, Haze, and Humidity. I don't think I really miss it. :-)
