alligator country

I spent 2 weeks in Louisiana for a wedding... This is the closest I ever want to be to an alligator...

Great capture! The closest I got was also in Louisiana on a swamp tour. I was uneasy about going into the swamp but my husband talked me into it. Turned out I really enjoyed it and saw some gators up close when the tour guide fed them hot dogs on a stick!

They're nice to look at from far away and you got a great picture of him...we came across a small water area on a path. I forgot, but I think it was in Florida. in it was a medium crock sleeping. we took off in a hurry. fav.
