I Am Thankful For....Miranda Made The Basketball Team!!

After three days of tryouts, Miranda found out today that she made the basketball team. This is the paper that shows who made the team---the coaches write the girls' numbers instead of their names. Miranda is pointing to her number---1!! Basketball is her passion--she lives and breathes it! Today all the kids were saying that they think she is the best player in the 7th grade--not only does that make ME proud (and her dad, of course) but those compliments mean a lot to Miranda because her dream is to graduate from high school with a basketball scholarship to Baylor University!! I can't wait to watch her play this season....
Today I'm thankful for....
1. the weekend
2. Miranda made the basketball team
3. Miranda made an 80 on her Science test---the tutoring paid off
4. Eddie cooked dinner for me--a yummy pasta dish
5. get to watch Addie play in a basketball scrimmage tomorrow
@allie912 that's what time she had to be there for volleyball so she's used to it---after I drop her off I go ahead and go start working in my room too---I get a lot done :)
