Day 137----Trevor hasn't been able to watch the Skeeters play because he's always working during the games. So, one day last week he asked me if I would take today off and go to the game with him. How could I refuse???? :) We had a great time and the Skeeters won 18-5!!! :) Today there were quite a few kids on field trips and it was so funny listening to how excited they were to be at the game. When one of the players dropped a ball during the warm up, a little girl screamed with excitement "I see a baseball--a real baseball--I've never seen a real baseball before!!" It made me realize how fortunate my kids are--they have experienced so much and it also reminded me to be enthusiastic about the little things in life. :)
Today I'm thankful for.....
1. time with my son
2. the skeeters won :)
3. sunshine
4. reminders to appreciate the small "stuff" and not take things for granted
5. students who work hard in school----tonight was the NJHS (national juinor honor society) induction ceremony--several of my students are the newest members--I'm very proud of them :)
