Time With My Sister by dmrams

Time With My Sister

I went to Arlington to see Eddie who has been gone all week for work and still has a week until he returns. I was also able to see my sister and her husband. We went out to eat and went to a little hole in the wall place to listen to music, have a couple of beers, and visit. I hadn't seen her in almost a year so I was very happy to spend some time with her!!

*** to my new 365 friends just a little bit of background (onion?? lol) Teresa and I were seperated when she was 9 and I was 4. We were adopted out to different families and because I was so young I forgot about having a sister (I actually have 2 more). Years later when I reached 21, I set out to find my birth parents. Teresa ended up being the first person I found!! Even though we didnt grow up together, from the moment we saw each other again we have been as close as if we had never been apart....
Beautiful picture and what an AMAZING story. Gave me goosebumps when I read it

Della, my darling friend, I'm writing with tears in my eyes...happy tears... The moment the picture came up, I knew, "SISTERS"! and the story and sentiment are so endearing, i'm keeping you for a favorite. I'm so glad that yours is a story with a happy ending. Do you remember you'd shared a little with us some months back, so it's a delight to see you today, happily bonded with your sister. I know you were a gift to one another when you were reunited...you're a gift to us...
