I Will Stand Tall by dmrams

I Will Stand Tall

As I stand alone
walls on all sides
On the hardness and trials
I will stand tall
as tall as I might,
for all of my
humble little life.
Til the world tramples me,
and I am no more,
I will stand tall
as tall as I might.
Always reaching for the sun.
Even though all around
is brokenness and pain
I'll lend my brief beauty
and stand tall
as tall as I might.

***I had a wonderful day at school, but I'm so happy we have a long weekend!! Eddie and I went out to eat and then we drove to downtown Houston so I could take some pictures of the tall buidings. I was so excited there were window washers (at least that's what I think they are) working away when I took this picture! I love the colors of the sky, too! I was disappointed though because I didn't change my camera battery so my camera died and I missed quite a few good shots!! Oh well, that just means we will have to venture downtown again sometime soon!! I hope everyone has a happy restful weekend!! <3

It's a beautiful building and I do believe it is a window washer hanging up there. Great poem, strong sense of determination.
