"Our House is a Very Very Fine House" Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young

Miranda and her friend from across the street decided to use some old wood to start building a "house" in our yard. I was actually very impressed with what they have done so far and how well they worked together!! I can't wait to see the house when it's all done!! :)

I can't believe it's already Sunday night....the weekend flew by!! Eddie left today for a week long business trip.....I hate it when he has to travel for work, but at least he will be back for the weekend!! :)
What fun And when they finish what a sense of accomplishment.

Great project for them to work on together. There are lessons that can be learned while having fun...looks like they'll get to do both! And don't you find weekends fly by and weekdays sometimes do a very slow waltz?!

They're at an age when everything's a possibility! I suspect they'll put together "a clubhouse" quite to their liking, and then you'll have to share another picture of the finished project!

Fantastic idea- love to see it when its done. My boys were builders too when they were younger (and we had a yard) there was always so much excitement when there were trees to cut and there was plenty of 'material' lying around.
My partner has just left for Ho Chi Minh for a few days and Im grateful he'll be back sooner than later too as after christmas we will be living in two separate countries as he moves to Jakarta for work and Mac and I stay here so he can finish school...

Yes, please...DO share a pic of the house when it's finished. I loved building forts and houses with available scraps of wood and such. Great photo to remind us all what's possible if we put our minds to it. :-)
