When ever I look at this photo it reminds me of the first couples of lines from Chris De Burg's "Fatal Hesitation".
"The cafes are all deserted, the streets are wet again".
I wanted to capture the teeming rain but also give it context to the city - these sheltering pedestrians did that.

LIke the yellow (and golden) reflection in the foreground. Is this taken from the car - (can't quite understand.) I got absolutely soaked to the skin yesterday whilst out with Jinks plus had to carrry him the last bit home as he was walking a snail's pace!

@quietpurplehaze this is an intersection and I am standing on diagonal corner (under cover). Just as I took the photo that car entered the frame which may be why you think I may be in a car.

@doblaine Thanks - I realise it concerns me not to know where I am - even in a photo!!!!!!!!!!!

Fabulous capture. Love how you have captured the pelting rain onto the road surface, and brought in a story with the pedestrians on the other side. Makes you want to snuggle up in front of a fire with a bowl of hot soup.
