I was going to say chestnut - and this is a beautiful macro Domenico! And I had to look up conker :) apparently they are almost the same but the conker is a horse chestnut and it is not edible. I did not know!
@psychographer@kerosene yes... actually I had to look for "conker" on the dictionary as well (I tagged chestnut), but that's it! We have plenty of them in Roman parks and when they start to fall, it's fall!
Perfect. I love the shapes and the colours and the abstract feel of it. Although it is instantly recognisable as a conker. It's not fall, but autumn ;)
