@m2016 thank you, 6th floor of a building on a hill, reasonably tall! @fauxtography365 :-) @kerosene the fun is that I noticed him only in the photo! @hrs thank you! @yaorenliu I confess I am not sure: Perhaps some of them from the façade of the hotel I was for the night. @kazlamont thank you very much! @scotthouston oh well... what's life without some pain ;-) I was on a business trip: no room for the bulky D3... lucky indeed with the hotel room view and having the possibility to tie the M9 to the window's handle. Ah, of course it's not the 35mm... just forgot to set the menu!
This is my favourite of the 'night' series so far... I like that you've adjusted the colour balance to a more 'natural' feel - most people don't bother leaving the image looking rather garish.
@vignouse Thank you, Richard. Most of the times I am lazy enough, as well... But I felt that those very unnatural shadows needed a more natural context.
Love the composition, so much to grab my eye and attention. The light is wonderful. Only The Shadow knows". Old radio program, not that old but love the line.
